“There is space for both strength and stillness in practice.”
Yoga has been part of my life since childhood, influenced by my mom’s work as an Iyengar yoga teacher. While I may not have always appreciated it growing up, that early exposure instilled in me the importance of embodiment, alignment, and observing the mind with curiosity.
I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training at The School Yoga Institute in Peru in 2019, deepening my understanding of asana (physical postures), yoga philosophy, and breath-work. I have since completed additional trainings in restorative and prenatal yoga.
I teach a variety of styles including vinyasa, hatha, restorative, yin, and prenatal yoga. My foundation in Iyengar emphasizes alignment and safety, while my therapeutic lens highlights self-awareness and self-compassion.
There is space for both strength and stillness in practice. In a culture that prioritizes productivity and constant movement, yoga becomes an intentional practice of slowing down. It’s an opportunity to listen inward, restore balance, and reconnect to the body.
