The Person Behind The Practice

Hi! I’m Gwen

I’m a Denver, Colorado based therapist and yoga teacher offering a holistic approach to mental health and wellbeing. I believe we are shaped by our identities, relationships, lived experiences, and access to resources and I work with the whole person, not just a set of symptoms.

I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Simmons University, where I developed a strong foundation in mental health care grounded in social justice and systems awareness. My path to this work was winding, but I’ve long known I wanted to work in the health field, supporting others in living their fullest lives. Over time, I came to understand how deeply interconnected mental health is with movement, rest, nutrition, and community.

Originally from the Boston area and shaped by many years living in Burlington, Vermont, I’m a New Englander at heart. Outside of work, you can usually find me outdoor- hiking, backpacking, camping, or skiing- moving my body and soaking up fresh air. I love live music, dancing, creating with my hands, and traveling when I can. I’m someone who enjoys doing a little bit of everything and my ongoing personal practice is learning to slow down, honor rest, and find beauty in the small, ordinary moments of life.
